Edgmond Hall lies in 18 hectares of gardens, orchards, fields and woods, providing
great locations for a wide range of activities to take place on site.
Recreational areas include two adventure courses, two aerial runways, a floodlit
grass playing field, a large field with cut paths to explore, picnic tables, and
a camp fire area.
Edgmond Hall is situated in the small attractive village of Edgmond, easily explored
on foot.
Newport, a Shropshire market town, is five minutes away by road, and can be reached
on foot by country paths.
Places of interest within easy travelling distance, either by coach or making
use of our 17 seat minibus are:
- Ironbridge Gorge Museums – this World Heritage
Site is about 20 minutes away
- Cosford Aerospace Museum – a national museum including
a new Cold War exhibition
- Telford – skating, bowling, skiing, town park,
shopping centre
- The Shropshire Hills – Wrekin, Wenlock Edge, Stiperstones,
Long Mynd
- Hawkestone Park and Follies
- Lilleshall Abbey
- Shrewsbury and Stafford.
