– Day courses

Edgmond Hall provides a range of provision for secondary schools, including:

  • Yr. 6/7 transition
  • Yr. 7 induction/team building
  • Geography, History and Science fieldwork
  • Courses for targeted pupils – raising self-esteem, confidence, key skills
  • Gifted & Talented
  • Thematic courses to develop e.g. literacy, numeracy
  • Study, revision and rehearsal weekends/weeks
  • Creative art opportunities
  • P.S.H.E. and citizenship

Courses can be tutored, or in some cases school staff may wish to run their own programmes, for example study or revision weekends, with support from centre staff as appropriate.

We are particularly keen to work with secondary schools in raising standards. All tutored programmes are developed with school staff, delivered creatively, and have a focus on each individual student whose achievements are recorded and recognised at the end of the course.
